Datatype not corresponds with Specifications why?

I am doing a specified import (delimited) dealing with 255 fields to import. It cleary imports the data as delimited but not retains the datatype as specified. How to resolve this?

Give us a Zip archive file which contains the MDB with your saved import specification and a sample of the file you wish to import. Also tell us which fields do not respect the data types designated in the import specification.
