Hi, I'm interested to know how to create a message box using the expression fuctionality. If you have any examples that would be very helpful.

Thanks for your contributions :friends:

Please clarify. What do you mean an expression functionality? Expressions is a vague term.

apologies, Imdabaum for the vague question. But in access on the expression builder I happen to notice that there is an option called message and I was just curious what it actually does. Just keen to know more about access 2007. :-)

Are you wanting to open a message box from an expression builder on a query, form or macro?

On a form

Perhaps I'm not understanding, but why would you want to use the expression builder to trigger a messagebox when you can just write VBA code?

Please be more specific- what are you trying to accomplish exactly and why do you think expression builder is what you need to use?

CreganTur, yes I think it would be better to write vba instead. Thanks!
