Hi all

Not really expecting a solution to this one -though if there is one -then, hey that would be nice. More of a `why does it do it?'

So I'm playing about with little games in ppt to play with my class of 9/10 year olds (mostly maths games), and having fun making the little macros work. But when I come to make the slide more interesting by adding animations -from the custom animation, or animated gifs -to make it more appealing, the animations stop, flicker or whatever.

So why does it do that -why does animation seem to be in conflict with whatever macro is being run?

As I say, not really expecting a solution. Just curious...luckily I don't have a cat!

Maybe an out of date video driver?

If your macro makes a "permanent" change to the slide being shown it is likely to affect animation as it will be seen as a reset.

Ah, that explains it. Most of the macros I've been thinking about do actually affect what's on screen -as in changing them, so that would explain it.
Obvious I suppose.
Thanks
