Does anyone know the exact steps to sign a VBA Macro Project? Can you give a real-life example including the URL to download the certificate? Do I need to buy one or is there a free one I can use? I found the steps on how to do it from Microsoft but it doesn't tell you how to get the certificate installed in the first place.

In Windows XP, Word 2007, I open the VAB Editor (alt+F11), then goto Tools > Digital Signature, then a dialog pops up saying "This VBA project is currently signed as [No Project]". So I click "Choose" and the "Select Certificate" dialog shows up but there are no certificates to choose from!

I tried installing a few different ones from trusted Microsoft Certificate Authorities using Windows Certificates Manager program and they install, but still nothing. Is there a specific certificate or certificate setting or similar I am missing???

SelfCert.exe (http://www.source-code.biz/snippets/vbasic/3.htm)

Make sure the check the 'Digital Certificate for VBA Projects' (http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/officeinstall/thread/9bb0b1ab-82aa-4062-89a1-650bcdaba58a)

There are some issues with the Digital certificates here, i also found some problems with the VBA with a dialogue box which says the digital certificate with this application has been not authentic, how it can be sorted.
