compare file list

I have a document with 300 file name in it. I want to compare this list with my files in computer. If any file does not exist then change color of file name in document. can you help me please.

Well it certainly COULD be done, but it would take quite a bit of overhead and processing time to do it. After all, you would have to check ALL folders before you could state it did not exist.

On the other hand, can you restrict the checking to certain folders?
