Solution:
Yet another stupid bug of Access. :doh:
If your labels are too close to an another object (checkbox, textbox, etc), the label text will become bolder each time you will change the current record by clicking "next" or "previous", without any change to the .fontweight property.
For example, if a checkbox's label is too close to it's checkbox...
