Picture blinking (flashing)

I'm using screen updating to prevent the screen from flashing when my code runs, but after the code finishes, and the screen updating returns to normal, my picture still flashes (Blink). Is there a way to prevent my pictures from flashing after screen updating returns to normal?

If you mean it 'blinks' once, that is the repaint after all changes are made.
