Dear all,

I have an existing column(A) with brand names, & I need to update the list by adding new codes quite often..

My problem is... the new data which I receive is always in different order..:( (I put it in col D & e in my example.) The yellow cells are the raw data, you can see that the order of it is v. different to col A. Moreover, some brand names are new which appears in the first time...

I find it very time consuming to check it one by one with eyeball screening.. therefore, I want a macro to help this.. I hope col D&E can be sorted according to the sequence of colA and place all new brands at the bottom with red color... How can I achieve this...?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi, Thanks xld ! I know my words are not clear .. I want to keep col A unchanged and keep sorting in col D & E. I'm not going to sort it by col E ,but according to the sequence in col A.. ( by brand names) After sorting, "Gucci" is in 2nd place as its position is is placed in front of "Loewe" in col A.. And then by looking at col D, "Hermes" should place in 3rd place... I know it's more difficult and I dunno how to deal with it..

Putting the data in column A in your spreadsheet was misleading, I thouight you actually wanted it there!
