Custom Animation

I'm trying to add to an existing presentation. The Custom Animation required is Fly-In from Left using On-Click for each line as attached sample.
If I copy and paste into the existing, the On-Click is not working and the lines show one after the other with no user intervention. Is there a global setting that does this that I need to change?

(Using 2007) I copied Data1-5 and pasted them into the same placeholder.

They seem to work as expected

What are you copying and pasting?

Hi Paul,
I'm just doing Edit/Select All/Copy Paste into new slide in existing presentation. I also tried from Word, set the animations as in the example, but they come in without the click. This is an old file, edited many times over the years, so corruption is possible. I'm working with PP 2003 if it has any bearing.
