Slide "0"

I recently received a PP slide show file that started off with some text in a foreign language. I wanted to translate that text so I converted the file to a ppt file assuming the text would be on slide 1. I opened the ppt file and poked around looking for the "slide" with the foreign text, but could not find it. In the ppt file, slide 1 is the 2nd slide in the pps slide show. I am pretty good with PP but have never seen this before.

I removed slides 3 through 100 to get the file small enough to attach here and then zipped it (can not upload PP files).
