Hey All,
I have a spreadsheet that contains a lists of parts together with their total exposure time (in hours) eg;
Part 1 168hrs
Part 2 170hrs
Part 3 200hrs
When each part is booked out or booked back into stock a time stamp is created in the format of dd:mm:yy hh:mm:ss eg;
Part 1 Booked In 15/04/2011 12:40:11
Part 1 Booked Out 16/04/2011 12:40:11
So in this case the part has been out of stock for 24 hours but when I subtract one time from the other excel does not give me 24.
Is there a function that can calculate the amount of time in hours given 2 date and time stamps?
Can someone help me?
Thanks
Phil
