Protecting Excel Workbook

Hi,
I have a excel workbook with original calculations. I protected this document with a password however as soon as I upload this document to google document and download it, this document becomes unprotected. Basically anyone with google account can steal my work.
Is there a secure way to protect the document.

Separate the code (calculations) workbook from the presentation workbook, then never upload the code workbook.
