I just had to purchase a new laptop and am having to adjust to Windows 7. Most of my software runs fine in the new windows environment. Outlook is the lone exception (so far).
That said, Outlook runs fine in every respect except that when I type in a contact's name in the "To" field, the contact is not automatically inserted or checked against the contact list, as Windows 7 neither recognizes nor looks for contacts in the PST file. I can, however, manually go to the contacts, right click on the desired contact and generate a new email to that person with no problem.
I'm curious as to whether there is a workaround using VBA that would render the contact list usable?
