Hi all,

Is it possible to hide the current cell indicator?
I mean the border that indicates the current cell.

I'm using Excel 2003.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's possible. You can change the color of the Column and Row indicators (through Windows settings), but not the actual cell indicator.

Hi there,

I may be reading this differently, but if you mean the cells' gridlines, you can hide them (in 2003, not sure where in 2007-2010) via Tools | Options..., the View tab, and un-tick the Gridlines checkbox.

This effects only the sheet you change this on, and is actually part of the window, so if they open a secondary window, the gridlines will display in the additional window(s).
