Code to Remove file password

I need a code that go to all the excel files in specific folder and remove the password of all excel files.

Are you asking about

1. Removing the VBA Project password?

2. Removing the user applied PW to a workbook?

3. Removing the user applied PW on the worksheeets in a workbook?


In all cases you need to know the password(s)

1. I do not know of a way

2 and 3 -- these can be done via VBA if you know the password(s)

Sorry for that post which is prohibited in the forum I forget the password of my 1000's of excel files which i had applied on the worksheeets in a workbook.What can i do the worksheets are password protected with one password any advise please...

This forum, like most others, has a policy of not aiding in the defeating of Excel's password protection, even in cases like this.
