Apply theme colors

Hi friends,

I have 25 charts in separate sheets in excel. They are all in 3D with different chart types. For changing the colors, I created a new color theme and saved it. I applied it. But nothing changed. Are there any other options, before applying the new color theme.

Please help me in this regard.

The theme colors are on the TOP section of the color choices (it's labeled "Theme Colors").

If you chose colors from the STANDARD COLORS section, those do not change as you change different themes.

Yes. I was assuming you were in Excel 2007.

I selected "page layout" menu and then "colors" menu. In that, I selected "create new theme colors" at the bottom and created new colors for all (Accent1, Accent2....). I saved it and reapplied. Nothing were applied to the charts.

Please help me.

If your charts were created using standard colors they will not change color when you choose different themes. Your chart colors HAVE TO be using theme colors (the colors on the top).

My charts were using theme colors. I created a new theme colors and applied the new theme. Chart series colors were not changed. All the charts are having different effects and presets.

Is there any way you can attach your file? Make sure you make a chart with dummy data if your data is sensitive.
