I need a macro that will delete calendar items in a secondary calendar then import items from an Excel spreadsheet.
At work, we add our vacation plans to a SharePoint calendar. I manage projects through an MS Access database, from which I export a milestone list in XLS format. Each item is assigned to a custom category. I can import that list into Outlook.
I have added the SharePoint calendar to Outlook so I can add, edit and delete items through the Outlook interface. I need to merge the Vacation Calendar with my Project Calendar. I'm open to suggestions for the most efficient means of accomplishing this. I would prefer to use one macro that would:
Delete all items in specified categories from the SharePoint calendar
Import items from Excel file directly into SharePoint calendarThanks in advance.
