Hi,

I have 4 accounts set in Outlook 2010. 2 IMAP (GMAIL) and 2 POP3.

Each time I want to send an attachment from an application i.e. Word by default the email is composed using my POP3 account.

I've tried different settings in Outlook to make one of the IMAP accounts default but with no luck so I'm looking for code that would automatically change the outgoing email account to one of my IMAP accounts (call it bogusemail@gmail.com) every time other than a direct reply to an email.

Thanks.

Outlook 2010:
Have you tried just going to File, Account Settings, highlight the account you want to send from and then click the 'Set as Default' button?

Outlook 2007: (as I recall)
Click Office Button and go to your Account Settings. Or, Control Panel, Mail and Account Settings.

That is how I set it up for my Gmail account. Now, when I compose a message, Outlook shows the message as being sent from Gmail.
