show a tab when a particular worksheet is activated

Hello,

I have a workbook that I have added a custom tab to using XML but I only want this tab to show when a particular sheet is being used

Is there a way to contextualise a custom tab in this way?

I assume that the "tab" you have added is a sheet.

More importantly, you'll need to better define what you mean by "sheet is being used". Viewed? Actively typed on? There are events for these things that can easily trigger visibility of a sheet (again, I assume you mean "sheet" when you say "tab"

How will the other custom sheet be used simultaneously with the active sheet?
