I have just discovered using custom fields in Outlook and would like to have a macro button set up (with an inputbox) to change the value of the custom field with the text I have put into said inputbox.
I have hit a snag, as custom fields only seem to be alterable when "Allow in-cell editing" is enabled (which I don't want to leave on).
1) is there a way of altering custom fields in VBA?
2) is there a way of turning "Allow in-cell editing" on and off in VBA?
I am using Outlook 2003 SP3
