Sleeper: Help with Status Bar

I have been looking at the posts about status bars and thought that I would give it a try since this file that I have is rather slow. I think that everything is attached in this file but, it isn't working. When run the Macro, the status bar comes up and the macro runs but the status bar doesn't update. I would appreciate any help that I can get on this.

I used the example off of this page:

I opened the file but the only code that I could see was in the sheet module that showed a form, a form that wasn't in that workbook.
