Hello,
I added a text area from the controls toolbox and I was able to set the properties to show the scroolbar and make it multiline. My concern is to make this textarea active when I selected with my mouse so I can scroll the text up or down.

At this moment I can only acces the text if I rigth click on the text area and select Object Zone --> edit.

Is there some VBA code to make this field scrollable or editable when I click on the textarea?:dunno

thanks,

Hi leoncius,

I am not such a VBA wiz, but I will have a go at answering this just to try to pay a little back to this forum for the help that the experts have given me.

So ...

It sounds to me that you have placed an ActiveX text box on your document area.

And then when you right-click on the text box, you see a shortcut menu with a 'TextBox Object' item, which a sub menu including the 'Edit' item.

This may be a bit simplistic, and my apologies in advance, but maybe you have not succeeded in leaving the Design mode. If you exit Design mode you should then be able to freely type text into your new form field.

Keep us updated.
