Tekst in recatngle

Hi
I have a blank page
I enter a rectangle and start to enter text in it

When I strat using (don't know the englisch word for it) thinks like:
- fdfk
- jjhe
- ypupr

the r'ectangle closes and opens seperate from the previous one
I end up with 2 rectangles...

I only want one

What am I doing wrong?
