Greetings All.
I have a sizable stack of word documents our company uses as templates for document generation. They've been created by different people over the years and thus the Bookmarks have different labels for the same data (no standardization). We're developing a new document generation and I was assigned the task of standardizing all of the Bookmark fields.
What I need is to export the Bookmark fields and their contents to an excel document. Either by folder, or one document at a time so I can filter the results and start standardizing. There is an older thread that may have been doing a similar thing, but sadly the original code seems to be missing. I've googled a lot to see if I could find a macro or script that will do this and haven't been able to locate anything.
Any help you could give would be appreciated.
(Here's the old thread with missing info: hxxp://vbaexpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33192)
had to remove the link due to post count.
