How can I use various string functions to extract a word?

Hi experts, I would like to use various string functions to extract the last word from a song title (http://www.wiseowl.co.uk/training/exercises/ex-1025.htm). Is it possible to do this? If so, ss there a way I can approach this? Do you have any examples, websites, articles, books or pesonal experices how I can do this?

Doesn't it defeat the point of the training program if we give you the solution rather that you using the materials provided to figure it out ?
