Fetch associated field

So, in Excel, I just use a vlookup.

Once I select a serial number from the combobox, I need to look up the associated tail number from another table.

Would I use an exit event from the combobox? I'm kinda lost.:think:

I would fire a sub query off, I do not have access to figure it out on. If I remember right there are properties that are associated with the combobox that are different from Excel and work better for access.
I would have set up the tables to have an inside join on the serial number and tail number. I would think that these would not change from sn to sn.
