Hello everyone,

Does anyone of you here have an idea about the program called "VBASAFE" or "LOCKXLS"? I need to secure my codes and the two applications seems to address my need. But only trial version are available in the internet. Do you have any activation code for these apps? Or recommend another way of protecting and/or encrypting the VBA code in excel?

Thanks a lot!

Why don't you just use a rather complex password to lock out your VBA?
I've never needed anything else. A 16 character password using a mixture of numbers, symbols and lower/uppercase letters should be enough.

That's only good enough to keep out the casual 'code browser' type person

VBA 'protection' is (in)famous for being easily cracked.

There are $40 US tools available, and I've been told that if you know what you're doing you don't even need tools

I would not rely on any VBA password or protection unless it's to provide only the most minimal level of anti-browsing protection

ronlaude, do not ask for activation key here! Buy it if you need it.
