on a computer with Access 2010 Runtime, spell check appears to attempt to work, but ignores bad spelling. It does, however, capitalize at the beginning of sentences.
Any suggestions?

I installed the spell-check icon on the top menu line but when clicked the message: "spell checker isn't installed" appears.
Can one install the spell-checker with MS Access 2010 runtime?

I had no idea Access had a spell checker. Seems very odd to me to even have such a function for a database application.

MS Office has a spell checker which is shared by its various components. I misspoke when I wrote of an MS Access spellchecker.
I was under the impression that Access runtime would default to a currently active Office spellchecker. The installation in question was running Office 2007, but installed Access 2010 runtime. The spell check didn't work in this instance.
