I've searched for this extensively and found no resolution...

I would like to have a macro to run from either a form control or toolbar (I can handle that part) that, when run, will wait for the user to click anywhere on the slide and use the mouse click as coordinates to insert a simple "Arrow" shape.

Can anyone help me with this? I really appreciate it!

There's no simple way to do this in vba.

In a way I'm glad about that.. I faced a similar problem a few months back and concluded that it would be very complex to achieve; which was essentially what I told the client (it wouldn't have been deliverable within the timescale). Powerpoint is frustrating sometimes as it seems to lag behind the other host apps considerably in terms of VBA functionality.
