I did a bit of reading and thought this would be easy - but I'm now a bit stuck for direction.

I have a form in word - which users fill out, save, print and then manually enter the details into a spreadsheet.

I have amended the form so that there are content controls for all the data items that need to be in the excel ss. Now I'm stuck.

I had though that I would be able to write something that extracted the content controls really easily using xml capability - but after reading hugely about how to map it and bind it and ..... I'm not really understanding how to do it. I'm thinking that vba will be the best way.

Can anyone get me started in the right direction, ..... please.
