Import problem from Excel to Access

I currently have an Excel macro that uses ADO to insert records into Access. It works. However, once in a while I run into a problem with my text being too long (at least this is what I think it is). If I chop the cell's length to around 590 characters, I have no problem. If I let my macro run without chopping it, I get a syntax error..... really strange. Wondering if any of you run into this problem. Thanks.

PS - don't know if this belong to Excel forum or Access....
