Hi,

I Have a question:
I have seen a macro (PPT Add-in) where with a click of a button a
pre-defined shape or user defined shape will get inserted in to the Active slide.
Can any1 give me an idea how this could be achieved.

Is the shape one of the standard shapes or a completely new custom shape?

Completely New E.g. an organisational chart.
i want if some one click on to a button a pre defined organisational chart structure will get on to the slide

Not easy to do. I would create a presentation with the shape save it in a fairly inaccessible place and in vba open it with no window when the button is clicked (ie invisible) and then copy paste (with code) into the active presention/slide.

If i create a presentation with shapes.
convert it to PPA

Is it possible to copy and paste shape from that PPA.
or after converting presentation to PPA it is not possible to access these shapes.

PPA's / PPAm's do not contain any slides so .... No.
