Manual Links in PowerPoint 2007 updates automatically

Hi,

I have a pptx with more than 100 slides each of one linked to an excel chart.
All the links are set to update manualy, but every time the pptx is opened, the links automatically update.

Hey there is a difference between Linked objects and embedded data. Just place the link in to the object in the document. And insert the content. Check whether you have embedded them correctly or not.
