Hi,
I have created a form in MS Word. The form is protected so users cannot change the form fields. The issue is that when the form is protected, a few things happen.
1.) The user cannot tab between fields
2.) The form still prints the "Click here to enter text"

Basically, what I need to do is enter a macro to first 1.) unprotect the form, 2.) enable tabbing between fields 3.) enable the form to remove "click here to enter text" and other text that prints if data is not entered, and lastly 4.) re-protect the form

Can anyone help me with this??

First, you don't really need to "protect" the document when using content controls (they are not formfields). http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tip_pages/content_control_fillin_form.html

For the placeholder text issue, see: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tip_pages/content_controls_do_not_print_pht.html
