Grouping rows causes Excel to crash?

Excel crashes every time I try to group a number of rows so that I can expand and collapse. I tried to do the same on a different worksheet in the same workbook, and there was no problem. I'm not sure what's going on with this worksheet. Can someone shed some light?

Can someone shed some light?Do you have code in the worksheet_change event? it could be that everything is continuously recalculating, as snb states, upload the offending workbook so we can check for ourselves and give you a better idea :)
