Hello at all,

hope you can help me.
I want a code that enables to delete a certain slide and if one wants to delete this slide a msg box should appear saying "not allowed".

Many thanks in advance.

That would be very difficult to do (probably impossible) unless you are able to install an AddIn on every computer using that slide.

hi john, thanks for your help.
Ok, I thought it`s much easier..
How about this:
I recorded the sequence when pressing delete..and I thought I could get a code saying if someone presses delete on slide then a msgbox appears. Without disabling to delete the slide just that the msgbox appears.

THanks a lot.

Once more then ..

There's no way to do this except with a very complex AddIn.

It doesn't help knowing the code to delete a slide (even if there was only one way to do this!) You need to tap into an event that fires when a slide is deleted and there isn't a specific one. You would need to watch the slide selection event (not simple) and everytime it changed count the slides to see if any have gone THEN check if "Your" slide is missing, probably put it back and then show the message.

Exactly what you need? Tools or Shortcuts for power point.
