Fellow Forum Members,
I have had no success so far finding a solution to my problem so now I'm hoping I can find a solution in this forum.

Is it possible in WORD 2007 to design a FIELD CODE that can do the following?

I have a document with a Table of Contents (TOC) that has 15 pages. For the first page of the TOC the Title header needs to display as shown below:

"TABLE OF CONTENTS"

However, for pages 2 through 15 the TOC title header needs to display as shown below:

"TABLE OF CONTENTS - Continued"

Can the "- Continued" text be automatically generated by using a FIELD CODE? If using a FIELD CODE is impossible can it be done using a Macro?

I realize this can be done using Section Breaks, however I need to avoid using Section Breaks.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I do not think so, as the TOC is a continuum.

If the TOC is in its own Section (which they normally are), then set up a DifferentFirstPage (= TABLE OF cONTENTS as the header), TABLE OF CONTENTS - Continued as the following header.
