Creating an AutoText function in PowerPoint

I would like a macro that will let me insert auto text comments in PowerPoint (like AutoText in Word), allowing me to add large sentences using few keystrokes.

There's no way to fire a macro from keystrokes in PowerPoint (unless you use third party addins)

You could probably achieve this with autocorrect though

For example set && to correct to "This is a long sentence"
