PowerPoint Menu Buttons

I am trying to use one instance of power point to display other instances of power point on other screens. I can use Hyperlinks to open the files, but I can't figure out how to close them. Meaning I press button "A" and it should start presentation "A." Then I press button "B" I need to check if "A" is running and either minimize or close "A" and start "B." Can this be done using VBA?
