Hello everyone,
I am 100% new to this but from what I understand, I need to use power shell to do this task. If I am wrong feel free to recommend me a new product or program to use.
My current problem is this:
I have several long log files that I need to search for a string called "Intrusion". Every time that word is found, I need to select that line and copy that line into another document containing all of the lines that were copied.
Any help or leads as to where I can find this would be greatly appreciated.
