I was trouble shooting my spreadsheet today at work and from 8:30 am through to 12:59 PM everything looked good.

I was confident it was working but then 1:00 Pm kept reflecting as 1:00 AM

Then in trying to correct it to PM, the Cell showed 1:00 pm as 13:00 pm (military time)

Is there an easy way to adjust it so excel recognizes 1:00 as PM

its weird because 12:00 is recognized as Pm and then at 1:00 it jumps to 1:00 AM I have tried formatting but still no go!

How is the time value calculated? AS a result from an Excel function, personal formula, vba code, or a user imput?

The user would input a start time and end time

I don't know what cell you're having the problem in, but I can't duplicate it in XL 2002.

BTW, that sheet is very familiar, but with some of my formulas are changed and it has no macro to auto insert the start and end times.

You have to enter either '1:00 p' or 13:00 or it will be treated as am (12:00 is noon which is pm)
