Trying to open Excel 2010, auto-open Excel 2003

As irrational as it is, I won't uninstall Excel 2003 because I am so tied to Outlook 2003 that I won't risk it. I have installed Excel 2010 as well. When I double click a spreadsheet from Windows 7, Excel 2003 opens.

How can I change the default application to Excel 2010?

right clic on file, open with, search for new excel ....
but it's windows problem, not excel problem
