Hi, I'm not new to excel but not experienced with nested formulas. I hope someone can help or perhaps tell me if what i want is possible or just very tricky....

This will be a large spreadsheet and I'm trying to get them to be horizontal so that selecting the type will change the run number and those will change the other two.

I need only the relevent run numbers to come up so not if there is 0 weight for that run. Also need to be in chronological order by year.

I can use vlookups or offsets to get the run numbers right but failed to put them together, cant get rid of 0 cm runs nor in chronological order.

Thanks for any help with this!

You have more issues than just the right formula.

By having VLookUp searching for a repetitive value, Type, It will only ever return values from the first row of "Beans," for instance.

You would have noticed this already if you had not use identical values for the "Run" and "Year" columns.
