Yes, if you protect the sheet with the option to select lock cells unchecked and then unlock A1 and I2.

That is the Tab key.

And like Kenneth said, Tab only jumps to unlocked cells on protected sheets.

If you have Character Repeat turned on in (Win XP) Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> Keyboard, holding the key down for a second will cause it to skip about 6 cells per second.

Pressing Alt + Tab will change Programs, (Applications.)

Pressing Shift + Tab will Tab in reverse.

Pressing Ctrl + Tab depends on the program.

Thanks Guys,

Should have known that really.

I'm working from the the bottom of a sheet and reversed the cursor so when I hit the enter key it jumps up e.g. from I3574 to A3573 (so col A on next row up) - doing the cell locking takes the cursor from I3574 to I3573 and not back to col A. Using the TAB key again sends the cursor down (but in col A)

"reversed the cursor" = :dunno

" I hit the enter key" + " Using the TAB key again" = :dunno
