A funny thing happened on the way to the forum

My Standard toolbar is filled across about 3/4 of the screen. I dragged a couple of things to there from the Formatting toolbar while in customize mode. However if you drag an icon to the gray area on the right side of the target toolbar (i.e. its unused area), it goes to la-la land -- with no warning prompt, I might add.

While I ponder the ingenuity of that destructive "feature" I need help recreating one particular item. It's the listbox or combobox that shows current Style. Is it in the customize-mode list of items to drag onto toolbars?

If you mean what i think you mean, it's Customize/Commands/All Commands/Style.

If you don't mean what i think you mean, then the above wil be wrong unless I got it right by coincidence

Yes it is in the Customize, and under the Commands tab.

The category is Format, and the Style combobox box is one of the ones in the right command list.

You can also get it back with the Reset button on the Toolbars tab.
