Hey,

I'm working on some forms in Access 2003, and the ControlTip Text is not working on any of my controls. I enter the text and it is stored in the property sheet, but nothing appears when you roll over the control, regardless of whether it is enabled, has the focus, etc.

Anybody have a clue what might be up here?

Thanks!!

You should attach a sample that others can verify.

Sure, here's a sample with just one form. Every button on the form has something entered for ControlTip Text, but none of them actually display the rollover tags.

Eed, no problem viewing the control tip on my end. I'm using 2003 Pro.

I am getting the "Create a Class" displayed in 2000. I do have to hold the mouse over the button for about 3 sec. before it will appear. But otherwise they all seem to work, unless I am missing something.

xCav8r and Tommy, thanks for checking. No matter how long I let the cursor hover on the buttons, nothing shows up, ever. I am using Access 2003 in Windows XP Pro. This is the first project to which I've dedicated much time using Access 2003. I've also opened up some of my older databases (built in Access 2000), and none of those ControlTips work in Access 2003 either. I'm Tip-less!

Any thoughts on what might cause ControlTip rollovers to fail...?

I dunno. Does it happen in any other apps? For example, with a userform in Word?

Haven't specifically noticed any problems in other apps. Also, it's not affecting the mouseovers in the Access app itself, for instance, I still get rollover tags when my cursor hovers on the built-in toolbars. I just can't seem to get any of the tags that I've attached to control properties on my forms and reports.
