Hi All..!

Been many years since I posted here. Need some advice / help.

I have written some code which I have bound to a modified ribbon. Using an XML editor I created icons (on a separate tab, after the "Developer" option") and clustered them together. The code is bound to these 4 icons. Now when I mail the file, the code, icons, ribbon load XML all travels as one package. But it is innate only to the specific file. Is it possible to do this with Excel 2010 (how we did with add-ins). Once the file is mailed, and the user opens it, the options (ie..macro bound icons) will show up when ever the user opens any instance of Excel. So they do not need to open my specific file each time, to use the code I have created.

Thanks in advance...! Oh..an Happy New Year to all..!

You can save the workbook as an .xlam add-in - the end user then simply needs to install it.
