Hi to all forum contributors,

Like before, this time again I am hoping for a vba excel solution to my current problem. As enclosed in my workbook which is only a sample data where I have mentioned in 'PROBLEM' highlighted with yellow only three dates which is in column A,text in column B,Numeric Value in Column C and Column D.

Likewise below just that I have higlighted in yellow-expected 'RESULT' which I have mentioned in Row 20-22.The heading are mentioned in Row 19 which would be unique i.e Tax on Purchase is unique in every date & will be header, similarly 'Excise Duty & 'Tds Payable' will be also header which will be present in Column B.But C19 and G19 are intentionally left without heading.

I want the result in the same format.OR if better format if available.

My main requirement is that I want the data to be organised datewise but rowwise just as a sample format which has been mentioned from Row 19-22 with Row 19 being header.I have also posted the same at http://www.excelforum.com/excel-formulas-and-functions/980426-arranging-row-wise-data.html#post3546951.Still it is not solved yet.

If you require further info then do let me know.

I am not minded to solve this myself as you have cross-posted, but assuming that someone might, you should at least explain how and why the items go in the columns that you show, it is not obvious.

Dear Sir(xld)

Sorry for the late reply,as I was out of station.

Thanks for the reply to my post.

Let me explain in detail so that anyone can understand. The data is little bit more revised and improvised from the initial raw data to be more clear. The data not properly ordered or formatted is the output from an accounting software named Tally ERP9.This software is from India. In our country we use this software is by and large .Every result we get,but the problem is with tax and other result that we cannot extract from this software but one thing is sure that which value goes in which heading/text is I am able to extract from the software in excel. Now the problem is to organise datewise.Becoz,as per our taxation rule, we needed to extract purchase value also. One of the forum contributor Himesh which he has made a contribution which in link given in the post #1 above as well as below was able to do but the expected result from G20:G22 was little bit harder for him to formulate the formula. Now this G20:G22 which in above enclosed excel file I have not mentioned the heading as I thought this would confuse.Hence now I say heading is a 'Purchase Value'.As you can see at http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?p=3546951.Still forum contributor Himesh has solved but G20:G22 is still lying pending i.e unsolved which is a 'Purchase Value' for your kind information.Kindly refer the partial solution at http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?p=3546951.Still
For this expected result from G20:G22,once again I can say that the logic is that only those value of column C from C2:C14 should be added if in Column B from B2:B14 it does not contain 'Tax on Purchase' or 'Excise Duty' and any other text whose values are in D2:D14.Here in the expected result from G20:G22 the forum contributor has faced the problem in solving it.

Hence anyone are mostly welcome to solve the remaining part from G20:G22 of http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?p=3546951.Still with excel formula or whole in vba .

Hope you have understood now.If further you require any info, then do let me know.

Suresh

In addition to above,at http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?p=3546951.Still all other expected results has been solved except G20:G22.Anyone is heartily welcomed in solving the remaining part. And after that it would be very easy for vba expert to formulate code.
