In Word 2003, I was able to select some table rows and apply Keep With Next and Keep Lines Together in order to keep those rows from splitting up (such as when specific rows should always stay together on a page). I could to do the same thing at the end of the table to keep the last row or couple of rows from splitting away from the paragraph text that follows the table.

We are moving to Word 2010, and I find that those same rows are no longer staying together as I had previously set them up in 2003.

Is there a setting somewhere that will fix this so it works? This issue is going to affect alot of documents and I don't have a clue how to even find them all in order to do this some other way!

Thanks!

Cheryl

There are two different kinds of setting that come into play here:
1. "Allow row to break across pages", which is a table property; and
2. "Keep together" and "keep with next", which are paragraph settings.
AFAIK, these work the same way when used in tables in Word 2010 as in Word 2003.
