Recommendation Please: College Student Class/Assignment Tracking Outllook Addin

Google was not much help so I thought I'd ask here.

My son is starting college this fall and I thought that Outlook Calendar would help him to track classes and assignments

I thought there might be an Outlook addin that provides Student-oriented functions to make it easier for him to stay on top of things

I found a lot of commercial software that will handle scheduling classes and students for an entire university, but nothing (add in or stand-alone) that will just make life easier for one student

I could do Recurring Appointments and Tasks manually if it were for me, but if there were an add in available that would make it easier for him

Any ideas or recommendations?
